This yamamichi (mountain path) variant uses overlapping layers of orange and green reminiscent of freshly fallen autumn leaves. The yubinuki is threaded on faux-suede cording tied in a myoga knot with a 35 mm metal lobster clasp and key ring.

  • Yubinuki: Silk thread, silk batting, cotton

  • Yubinuki are strong, but they can be crushed out of shape by heavy objects, so take care when using and transporting.

    If you need to clean your yubinuki, use cold water on a cotton bud and gently dab it along the stain. Follow the direction of the threads to avoid disordering them.

    Store out of direct sunlight, as it will cause the colors to fade over time.
