The kanransha series is modeled after the Cosmo World ferris wheel in Minato Mirai, Yokohama, which puts on a multicolor light show every 15 minutes after dark. These earrings are made of two yubinuki that swirl through the same color wheel, but begin at different points in the spectrum, so they are coordinating but not identical.

These earrings are made of two yubinuki that swirl through the same color wheel, but begin at different points in the spectrum, so they are coordinating but not identical.

  • Yubinuki: Silk thread, silk batting, cotton

    Findings: Aluminum and niobium jump rings, titanium ear wires (hypoallergenic)

  • Yubinuki are strong, but they can be crushed out of shape by heavy objects, so take care when using and transporting.

    If you need to clean your yubinuki, use cold water on a cotton bud and gently dab it along the stain. Follow the direction of the threads to avoid disordering them.

    Store out of direct sunlight, as it will cause the colors to fade over time.
